The OnePlus Nord Buds 3r is a budget true wireless stereo (TWS) earbud aimed at users who want long battery life, clear calls, and low latency without spending much. It is available in Ash Black and other colours, and focuses on practical everyday features rather than premium extras like active noise cancellation.
The Ash Black version has a matte finish with a squared-off charging case that looks different from older pebble-shaped OnePlus cases. The earbuds are lightweight and come with multiple ear tip sizes for a secure fit. The case is compact enough for daily carry, and the overall build feels solid for the price, though it is more functional than premium.
The sound is tuned with a focus on bass, making it enjoyable for pop, EDM, and casual listening. There is a customizable equalizer through the companion app. Call quality is generally clear thanks to the dual-mic AI noise cancellation. Connectivity is stable with Bluetooth 5.4, and the low-latency mode works well for gaming. Note that there is no active noise cancellation, so outdoor noise isolation depends mainly on the ear tip seal.
Battery performance is one of the strongest points. With up to 12 hours on the buds and 54 hours total with the case, it can easily last several days of normal use. Fast charging is convenient when you need a quick top-up.
The OnePlus Nord Buds 3r is a good choice for users looking for long battery life, decent sound, and useful features like dual connectivity and low latency at a budget price. It works especially well with OnePlus phones due to extra features like 3D Audio and AI Translation. If you specifically need active noise cancellation, you may want to look at slightly higher-priced options.
Overall, it delivers solid value for everyday use, commuting, calls, and light gaming.
